About the artwork
On one side a fingernail breasted hermaphrodite gets fondled whilst a decapitated dog nips at their elbow. On the other a comically bored face holds a telephone to its ear whilst a turtle strolls off. Henrot is renowned for her dense and enigmatic images, that often possess strange dreamlike qualities and draw from pop culture and ancient mythologies.
