About the artwork
The edition consists of two volumes. In the centre of every page, one finds a substance followed by a unit of length expressed in ells or in steps, increasing gradually until 10. The various materials include iron pipes, plastic tubes, wooden laths, aluminum strips, elastic bands, cooper wire and nylon rope.
