Founded in 1995 in Reykjavik, i8 is Iceland's most established contemporary art gallery. It represents an eclectic mix of both local and international artists including the likes of Olafur Eliasson, Alicja Kwade, and Lawrence Weiner. i8's ambitious exhibition program frequently explores forms of abstraction, minimalism, and conceptualism, the gallery regularly taking part in the biggest international art fairs, notably Art Basel and The Armory Show, New York.
