Krakow Witkin Gallery is a leading Boston art gallery with national and international reach. Maintaining a consistent focus on minimal, reductivist, and conceptual art from the mid-20th century to the present the gallery presents the work of a diverse selection of artists, ranging from emerging Boston locals to established international names such as Josef Albers, John Baldessari, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Mel Bochner, Ellsworth Kelly, Dan Flavin, Bruce Nauman. Taking advantage of its architectural configuration, Krakow Witkin Gallery holds simultaneous six-week shows exploring the work of 20th and 21st century artists through group and solo survey and thematic shows. Since the early 2000s, the gallery also holds an annual benefit exhibition selling artworks to raise funds for AIDs charities. Keen to celebrate its uniquely Boston roots, the gallery is particularly active in supporting the community.
