Haus Konstruktiv was founded in 1986 to promote constructive, concrete and conceptual art. Alongside an impressive permanent collection and extensive educational program, the institution hosts several temporary exhibitions annually. Tomas Saraceno, Cerith Wyn Evans, Tino Seghal and Etel Adnan are amongst the international roster of artists to have held notable solo shows here. Continuously expanding its reach, Haus Konstruktiv established the Zurich Art Prize in 2007. The prize, which includes the invitation to have a solo exhibition at the institution, is awarded annually to an artist whose work within constructive and concrete art has been particularly relevant to contemporary and art historical discourses.
