History was made when Robert Wilson first collaborated with Philip Glass on the opera Einstein on the Beach. Its phenomenal success kickstarted both their careers with Wilson going on to become the most revered avant-garde choreographer in the world. A visionary who is meticulous down to the smallest detail, in 1993 he was awarded the Golden Lion for Sculpture at the Venice Biennale for his outstanding contribution to the arts across multiple genres.
