About the artwork

It is unlikely that anyone has ever attempted to produce an angular, rock like sculpture, using papier mache. His work is as absurd as it is incongruous and Franz West liked nothing more than poking fun at the art world. “It doesn’t matter what the art looks like,” he would often say, “but how it is used.”
