About the artwork

For anyone who's unsure, this is bronze. It spells it, it is made out of it, it is called it. Or is it? This is conceptual art made by the highly inventive and esteemed Fluxus artist, George Brecht. What interested him was the process, and that deliciously ironic idea to put bronze into bronze and make it available to all those lucky enough to look upon it.
