About the artwork

As with many of Eichhorn's artworks, Vier Multiples in Tasche incorporates precise guidelines for implementation and investigation. The collection of objects is a multi-faceted edition which challenges its owner to complete the work by carrying out the artist-given instructions, including drawing a heart on the wall and taking a photograph with the artist. In the spirit of Fluxus, authorship of this work is distributed amongst all those who activate the work by engaging in participation.
