About the artwork

The world’s most thrilling coat stand is a collaboration between British designer Paul Smith and legendary Italian design firm Gufram. Despite appearing too absurdly wonderful to use, it is actually made from robust polyurethane and treated with washable Guflac paint. Capturing the playful spirit of 70s design, the original cactus coat stand has been transformed with the help of Smith’s hallucinogenic vibes.
