These delicate drypoint engravings resemble the woven structure of lace, contrasting strongly with some of Tal R's more figurative and brightly colored prints. Presenting variations on the circular form and rendered in subtle tones, the Xanadu series is an unusual part of the artist's repertoire and shows a different side to this master of chaotic color.
