Established by Victoria Miro in 1985, the gallery has dedicated itself to showing the art of established and emerging contemporary artists from all over the world. Opening her first gallery space in Mayfair, Victoria Miro was quick to become one of the principal dealers in the London art trade, and has since opened larger premises both in London and Venice. Dealing in both unique pieces and prints and multiples, the gallery upholds one of the most exciting contemporary art programs today. It currently represents a number of Turner Prize winners and nominees, namely Chris Ofili, Grayson Perry, and Peter Doig, as well as renowned contemporary artists such Doug Aitken and Yayoi Kusama.
