Gemini G.E.L. is about to pass the astonishing milestone of 50 years at the top of the multiples publishing business! This extraordinary achievement is being celebrated with an exhibition at the prestigious National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.. Under the title The Serial Impulse at Gemini G.E.L., FAM's esteemed partner will showcase 17 artists including such art world luminaries as Rauschenberg, Lichtenstein, and Baldessari. It is fitting that Gemini G.E.L. are being honored at Washington D.C.'s National Gallery of Art which first established the wonderful Gemini G.E.L. Archive in 1981.

Having amassed one of the world's most impressive catalogues of collaborative artists, Gemini G.E.L has become one of the world's most respected multiples publisher. Spanning over five decades since their launch in 1966, Sidney B. Felsen and Stanley Grinstein have achieved legendary status with their principled yet adventurous attitude to making multiples. Their stance has held them in good stead as they are now the largest and most renowned multiples publisher working today.

Gemini G.E.L. was instrumental in ushering in the boom of multiples and limited edition prints in the 1960s that still shows no signs of abating.
